Michael Cousin

Michael Cousin's film, performance and numerous collaborations display an absurd, comical and sometimes darkly sinister edge. Within his work there are urgent hints at a need to communicate some larger unspecified truth; something wordless. His work does not ask for a complete shift in philosophy, rather a bending of the rules. These social interventions, such as playing handball to decide the fate of the universe, searching for friends through small ads, or leading pigeons around a city centre, are a small plea for a minor change in perspective.

Michael continues to show nationally and internationally.
