DARCH is a disabled Welsh collective formed by Umulkhayr Mohamed and Radha Patel, formed in March 2023, and a culmination of 6 years of work individually but always alongside each other. Their practice is grounded in care-centred approaches, and a politics of solidarity, liberation, and ancestral honouring. Combing shared elements of their individual practises, together they explore animism and relationships to land through rituals, shrine building, storytelling, installations, performance and sculpture. They were selected for Liverpool Biennale in 2025.
