David's work is primarily expressed through the medium of sculpture, with works also created using printmaking, drawing and painting. His work takes into consideration the line and tone of the human form and its interaction with space.
The representation of the human form is integral to David's work. He uses it to help identify the feelings and emotions of people that he encounters in everyday life. His overall intention is to create a sense of movement through different ways of viewing and interacting with sculpture.
David studied BA Fine Art at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Recent exhibitions include Moist, WMC Cardiff, and The Performance Exchange, SVA Gloucestershire (2011). He was also a recipient of the David Tinker Award (2009) and an ACW research and development grant (2013).
