Guy Mayman

Guy Mayman uses collage, sculpture and drawing to investigate information, design and hierarchy as agents of control in society: The intersection of culture, commerce, government and desire.
Guy studied a BA in Fine Art Sculpture at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. He then undertook a MA in Fine Art at The University of Chester. Guy has completed a two year residency at de Ateliers in Amsterdam and a two year Daiwa scholarship in Tokyo,where he continues to visit and work regularly. He produces a zine called Pataville, which uses montage to explore the idea of cultural false memory, architectural utopia and suburban psychosis.
