Harry Morgan works with modest materials that are readily available and often related to personal memories. Often the production of the material itself is part of the work ‐ he has made his own coal dust from collecting, burning and grinding bones. His practice often involves focused and labour‐intensive techniques in order to make absurd replicates of mundane objects. For example, a boulder made from papier-mâché, or an intricate glass etching of a lost cat poster. The Lost Cat project also reflected on text, words or writing styles that have been forgotten or made redundant.
Harry graduated from Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art.
