Experimentica 03
8 - 12 October 2003
Experimentica 03 provided a five-day immersion in the eclectic, entertaining and energetic worlds of Wales’ most cutting edge independent artists. Featuring persuasive new voices alongside experienced practitioners, ‘Experimentica 03’ presented performance, installation art, video, film, sound and cross-disciplinary practice from Wales and invited UK and international guests, including London based experimental film-maker Guy Sherwin, performance artists Silke Mansholt, Robin Deacon and RHWNT, a programme of risk-taking artists from Quebec, Canada, produced by TRACE Installation Art Space.
Chapter Gallery in Cardiff originates ‘Experimentica 03’ but this year it also took place in Cardiff’s most central contemporary art gallery, g39. We hosted three performance and installation projects over the five-day programme from Paul & Paula, Clive Myer and Michael Day.
