Brzeska's Eagle

13 October 2012 - 0 January 0000

In 1908 the artist Henri Gaudier Brzeska found himself living in Cardiff – Roath, to be precise. Working as a clerk at a coal merchant he continued to draw, and made several studies of a taxidermied golden eagle from the National Museum Wales natural history collection. The artists respond to this little-known story and the eagle itself.
